BRS, the Brazilian Real stablecoin
Brazilian Real StablecoinThe stablecoin of the Brazilian Real, for the internet.
Get BRS1 BRS = 1 BRLFully reserved 1:1
Access a trusted, verifiable Brazilian Real stablecoin.
Every BRS is backed by one Brazilian real in sovereign and money-market instruments, and redeems 1:1 for reais through PIX.
The reserves sit with Mirae Asset, a global financial group, as custodian, under a legal structure built with Pinheiro Neto.
Fact Finance verifies the reserves independently and publishes them live, so anyone can check that supply and reserves match.
Minted natively on Solana, Ethereum, Base and Polygon. On the EVM chains BRS is a LayerZero OFT: bridging burns on one chain and mints on the other.
100% R$ 1 in reserve for every BRS, as it is minted and redeemed
BRS is the future of the Real.
The price stability of the Real, with the speed and openness only a blockchain can give it.

FAQs
What is BRS?
BRS is the Brazilian Real stablecoin: a token pegged 1:1 to the Brazilian Real (BRL), fully reserved and issued by Nora Finance through a network of approved minters.
Is BRS the same as Drex, the Real Digital?
No. Drex is the Central Bank of Brazil's digital currency project. BRS is a private stablecoin issued by Nora Finance: a standard token on public blockchains, fully reserved 1:1 in Brazilian reais and usable by any wallet or protocol today.
Where can I get BRS?
Companies mint BRS 1:1 from reais through PIX by joining the Nora network. Everyone else can get it on the secondary market, from the exchanges, apps and protocols in the BRS ecosystem.
How are the reserves held and verified?
The reserves are held in sovereign and money-market instruments, with Mirae Asset as custodian. Fact Finance verifies them independently and publishes them in real time on the transparency page.
How do I move BRS between chains?
Between Ethereum, Base and Polygon, with the BRS bridge, built on LayerZero: it burns BRS on one chain and mints it on the other, so the supply stays the same. Solana BRS is minted and redeemed natively through Nora; there is no bridge between Solana and the EVM chains.
Can I get BRS without being part of the network?
Yes. Only primary mint and redemption require an approved minter. BRS itself is open: any wallet can hold it and any protocol can use it.
